I like meeting people and, if a photo moment arrives organically from our interaction, taking several in an attempt to capture them, their essence. It’s a joyful process that often presents an opportunity to “learn” someone new, their unique story, circumstances, what’s important. At its most rewarding, the exchanges lead to portraits of a person, as does the photo taking, with intriguing overlaps between the two modes of perceiving.
